What began with a friend’s home renovation in 2005 has since grown into Signature Design and Construction, one of New York’s premier full-service contractors. Signature specializes in high-end residential, commercial and hospitality spaces in the metro New York City area. To date, over 120 renovations have been completed, including multi-faceted projects in neighborhoods like Soho, Tribeca, Central Park West, Central Park South and Fifth Avenue as well as home renovations and new builds in Westchester and the Hamptons.

Erich J. Stegich

Founder and President

Erich Stegich is the Founder and President of Signature Design & Construction, one of New York’s premier full-service contractors. A dynamic and creative leader, Erich personifies the entrepreneurial and creative spirit that is the hallmark of Signature Design & Construction. Erich has an elevated level of taste, a keen eye for design and a sound appreciation for value. Erich is personally involved in every project from start to finish, ensuring high quality work and on time execution. A former corporate attorney, his attention to detail and adherence to deadlines are unique among the contracting industry. Erich has a thorough knowledge of construction management and best practices and has successfully managed over 100 residential remodeling jobs in the New York metro area as well as over 20 commercial, retail, and hospitality spaces. He has also completed multi-unit interior build outs for major multi-unit developers. He has simultaneously managed multiple projects with aggressive schedules, tight budget restrictions while consistently exceeding client expectations.

A graduate of Lafayette College Erich has a dual degree in Art and Law and holds a JD degree from St. John’s University Law School. He is a member of the United States Green Building Council and the New York Urban Land Institute and is LEED Accredited and EPA Certified. Erich has won numerous awards for his paintings and metal and stone sculptures. When he is not ensuring the successful completion of a client’s project he can most likely be found skiing or boating with his family. He is a longtime volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, and a Trustee of the Pennington School in Pennington New Jersey.
